With Bank of 1889, you have the option to receive your bank statement online through Online Banking as opposed to mail as a paper document. Enrolling into eStatements is simple and FREE!
By enrolling into eStatements, you will no longer receive your paper statement by mail. Your eStatement will be available to securely view online, or you have the option to download your monthly statements as PDF files that you can view and print from the convenience of your home.
You can enroll in eStatements by signing in to Online Banking. When first signing in, you will be prompted to enroll your accounts. Check the accounts you would like to enroll, enter your email address, then read the eStatements Disclosure to find the confirmation code to accept the disclosure. If you decided to choose "Ask Me Later" or "Decline", you can find the eStatements option under "Options" in the top right corner of your screen.
Zelle® is available right from your online and mobile banking account and conveniently located in the same place where you pay your bills.
It is easy to get started. Simply log in to your online banking account or mobile banking app and enroll in Bill Pay. Once your account is verified, return to Bill Pay and select the "Send Money With Zelle®" tab.

Using our Telebanking service, you are able to access your accounts from your home, office, or any other location where a touch-tone telephone is available. With TeleBanc, inquiries will be answered about a variety of your accounts including checking, savings, insured money funds, certificates of deposit, and loans. You can check your account balances, transfer funds from one BANK OF 1889 account to another and make loan payments all over the phone. Sign up for Mobile Capture today. Once you are approved you will receive an email notifying you of your approval. You will then see a new icon within your mobile app called "Deposits".
In order to use Mobile Capture, you must use our Online Banking, use the Mobile App (available on iPhone, iPad, and Android), and be approved by signing up for Mobile Capture.
Checking, savings, and money market accounts are eligible for Mobile Capture with Bank of 1889.
Any check drawn on institutions located in the United States that have a MICR line can be processed through Mobile Capture.
There is currently no charge for customers to use this service.
Have all payees sign the back of the check, and state “Deposit Only Bank of 1889 Consumer Capture”.
The cutoff time for same day acceptance is 3 p.m. Standard Time
Retain the check for 30 days after confirmation that we have received the deposit. After the deposit has posted to your account and 30 days have passed, you may destroy the check.
If you enter a wrong amount than what is detected on the check, you will automatically receive an error message notifying you that the amount entered does not match. You will then need to verify the amount of the check and attempt to deposit via mobile capture again.
If the same deposit is submitted twice using Mobile Capture, you will receive an error message informing you that the check has already been deposited.
You will not be able to resubmit a check that was returned. You will have to either mail the check in or bring it to a branch for deposit.
